Home Remedies for Body Pain and Back Ache

Back pain is very common during pregnancy. Carrying a child creates amount of pressure on the lower spine and the increase in body weight also contribute to the problem. That’s why every day as your baby grows it’s harder to get up and down of chairs and beds. The use of home remedies for back pain is essential for expecting moms.
SOME OF THE HOME REMEDIES FOR BODY ACHES OR PAIN ARE:-
  • Ajwain and jaggery in equal parts if taken 2-3 times a day gives relieves from back ache problems.
  • Heat a mixture of sonth, mustard seeds, garlic and ajwain with oil and massage it.
  • Methi Ladoos if consumed 1 in day with milk it reduces pains from joints, back and body pain due to cold. (during pregnancy these ladoos are not advisable.)
  • Massage the affected area with herbal oils using knuckles and increasing pressure slowly.
  • Every time you lift something, remember to bend your knees first, this will prevent your lower back from getting tense causing damage to your spine and back muscles.
  • Never twist while lifting this can have bad effect on your vertebrates.
  • Avoid lifting heavy objects in the last couple of weeks of your pregnancy.
  • Do not sit in couches, always sit in firm chairs supporting with a pillow. This will help you keep your waist and lower back in the proper position.
BODY PAIN
  • Eating raw garlic every day will increase your immunity power to fight against viral infections.(expecting moms must consult the doctor before consuming garlic)
  • Drink at least 10 glasses of water, as it helps remove toxins and negative radicals which may cause body pain.
  • Do not smoke, drink liquor, coffee or eat junk food as all these items decrease your general immunity.
  • Do exercise on regularly basis this will increase your blood circulation and reduce body pain.
  • Rest is enough. “Sleep well so one can work well”
  • Boil about 250 gm ginger in 2 cups of water for 10-15 mins and then cool and drink it. This will give relief for nasal congestion and help eliminates aches.
  • Maintain a healthy weight.
  • Massaging the affected area with any oil will provide relief from the pain.
