Home Remedies For Giddiness

Giddiness is a condition in which a person loses control his body movements, fails to balance himself, has a feeling that all objects around him are moving. There are many factors that can cause giddiness in a person such as diabetes, high blood pressure, calcium disorder, anemia, motion sickness, and high cholesterol, and many more. Some of the common symptoms of giddiness are nausea, vomiting, dizzy spells and loss of balance. Several home remedies for giddiness are simple and are quite safe to use without any risk of side effects.
SOME OF THE HOME REMEDIES FOR GIDDINESS ARE:-
  • The first thing when a person feeling giddy must doif you are standing sit down and take 10 deep breaths, afterwards lie down for 10 minutes, this will promote good return of oxygenated blood to you brain and therefore it could make you feel better.
  • Drinking 2-3 glasses of ice cold water will give instant relief from giddiness.
  • Another effective way to treat giddiness is eat a bowl of strawberries, yoghurt, milk and almonds.
  • Drink a mixture of lemon juice, black pepper and salt with water. This will give you relief from the symptoms of giddiness.
  • Avoid alcohol and caffeine.
  • Soak 1tsp of coriander seeds and 1tsp of gooseberry(amla) powder and leave it for the whole night. Strain this mixture and then add 1/2tsp of sugar in it and drink this mixture.
  • During attacks consuming little raw ginger is one of the most efficient home remedies for giddiness.
  • Keep your body hydrated by drinking eight glasses of water every day.
  • Medication and deep breathing exercises are very helpful in treating giddiness.
