Home Remedies For Hangover

After celebration when any moderate drinkers tend to overdo drinking alcohol for one or the another reason  leads to upset stomach, headaches, dehydration, acidity etc..While we certainly don’t promote alcohol abuse, we do realize that during these times,it happens. The first thing an individual must remember is “Never Drink or Boose Empty Stomach”.
SOME OF THE HOME REMEDIES FOR HANGOVER ARE:-
  • When it comes to home hangover remedies, reaching for a humble banana or two is one of the most effective ways to cure a hangover.
  • Drinking lots and lots of water will help to cure a hangover and will help to control nausea and pounding headaches caused due to dehydration.
  • Add 2 teaspoons lemon juice and 1tsp of sugar to a glass of water with or without ice and drink it slowly.
  • Fresh fruit juices raises blood- sugar levels and replenishes your body with the essential vitamins depleted during drinking.
  • Avoid coffee and other caffeinated beverages as the aren’t helpful in conquering hangovers and they will dehydrate you even more.
  • Eating a small piece ginger will help settle an upset stomach, it will burn a little. Ginger can help with other stomach problems too.
  • Eating a breakfast of honey-on-toast is one of the best ways to beat a hangover.
  • One can also eat a big breakfast containing milk, eggs, oats and granola.
  • Apply one drop of peppermint oil under your nose,the scent will help control nausea.
  • Eating a cold pizza also works some times.
