Home Remedies For Insect Bite

SOME OF THE HOME REMEDIES FOR VARIOUS INSECTS BITES  ARE:-
Bee sting remedies
  • When a bee stings, it injects a  stinger and a venom sac into the skin. Immediate removal of the stinger and the venom sac can prevent futher pain and swelling. The best method for removing the stinger is to scrape the stinger out with a credit card or longish fingernail.
  • Cool it down with ice it is perhaps the most effective home remedy for bee stings.
  • Honey is a tried-and-true remedy for bee stings.
  • Use baking soda and a little bit of water to make a paste and put on the sting. let it set for a little while. it will help get the stinger out
  • On a honey bee bites, salt can be applied to reduce the pain.
  • It is said that wet tobacco or snuff applied on the affected area works fine.
  • Create a paste using water to moisten a small amount of salt. Apply to your bite to relieve itchiness and swelling.
Mosquito Bite Remedies
  • It’s pretty hard to resist scratching a mosquito bite. You can lessen your chances of infection by cutting a lemon in half and rubbing the soft, pulpy side of the slice against your itchy skin.
  • On mosquito bites ice or toothpaste or a quick hot shower or a tiger balm, vicks vaporub  or a calamine lotion or a soap or banana peel, watermelon peel works as in instant relief.
  • One can also slash water on the bite, and then sprinkle it either with salt or baking soda or make a paste and then apply it on the bite.
  • Dab a little underarm deodarant (roll-on), or calamine lotion or nail polish or a little vinegar. If  the bite is more than one place one can have bath with 2 cups of vinegar mixed with one bucket of hot water.
